April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and piano classes, which ignited her love for writing songs. However, she admits to going through periods of feeling insecure about her body and feeling uncomfortable in certain clothes that exposed her arms. She wears what she likes and is proud to post pictures of herself wearing the clothes she picks out on social media. For her, self-love is an extended journey. This is true for everyone, regardless of the level of insecurity. It's vital to surround yourself those who can identify and feel your heart.
